The Weekly Style Edit Link Up: Lace

Considering it is going to be Black Friday a week from today, it seems as though today’s outfit is quite fitting! Yesterday it totally hit me that it is almost Thanksgiving, which then means it is almost Christmas. Seriously, where has this year gone? I am really excited for the holidays this year with Harper since she will be a lot more aware and into the festivities than she was last year. I feel like my wardrobe is also starting to feel a lot more festive, not only because of the upcoming holidays, but because it is finally starting to cool down in New Mexico. Last week I was finally able to wear a blanket scarf for the first time for The Weekly Style Edit link up, and this week it’s all about lace! A few months ago I shared a gorgeous navy lace dress, and really haven’t worn anything lace since. Lace is such a chic and feminine way to add visual interest to an outfit, and I actually am not sure why I don’t wear it more often! I was recently shopping at Old Navy (shocker!), and spotted a really gorgeous lace trim blouse that I’m thinking of picking up to wear for our Christmas card photos this year. There are so many beautiful options at Express as well, which is where I found the top I’m wearing today!
