Summer to Fall Transition Pieces

I was preparing my September (!!!) calendar at work yesterday when I realized that in a few short weeks it will officially be fall. Why does it feel like the older I get, the more quickly each year goes by? And why are pumpkin spice lattes being sold already at Starbucks? Don't get me wrong, drinking a hot PSL while wearing a chunky infinity scarf sounds amazing, however sometimes it's hard to think of fall when it's still 90 degrees out. On a recent Target trip I found these leopard slip on shoes, and couldn't pass them up considering they: 1) were on sale for $19 and 2) almost identical to the Steven Madden version I have been dying for but unwilling to spend $80 on. Target always saves the day! Since I couldn't wait until the weather cooled down to wear these leopard beauties, I decided to pair them with some pieces that are also on my transition to fall list, such as my Old Navy vest and dark denim. This outfit is quite the leap from Monday's post

Wearing:
3.1 Phillip Lim for Target Bag
Love Always Bow Necklace (use code MOS for 15% off)
Hammered Bar Necklace c/o ShopLayeredUp (use code SHOP10 for 10% off)

Make sure to check back on Friday, as I'll be sharing some more pieces for fall that I have my eye on! Until then... enjoy your Wednesday!
