Red, White, and Blue for the Fourth

Isn't it crazy to think that tomorrow is already the first of July? Seriously, where has this year gone?! I always look forward to the 4th of July holiday, as we typically spend it with my family at my sister's house. Of course any holiday is also a really good reason to plan an outfit that corresponds to the celebration, and I love wearing anything red, white, or blue for the 4th. These pictures were actually taken over a month ago when we stopped by Dar A Luz, the birth center where I had Harper, the day before her birthday. I haven't had a chance to post them until now, but figured they just so happened to be perfectly themed for Independence Day. Almost this entire outfit is from Le Tote! I don't generally wear a lot of short dresses, but really loved the cut of this lace dress! It's definitely not something that I would automatically gravitate toward when shopping, so it was fun to try it out in one of my Le Tote boxes. I have been using Le Tote for a few months now and have been really impressed! Here's how it works: for $59 a month, you can get an unlimited number of boxes of three pieces of clothing and two accessories to wear and send back. You have the option to buy anything from your box at a discounted price. Shipping is free both ways, and you don't have to worry about laundering any of the items! As soon as they receive your box in the mail, your next tote will be on it's way. Each box is totally customizable, meaning you can choose each and every piece that gets sent to you!

Navy Jumpsuit

Happy Tuesday! It's always nice to know that the hardest day of the week is already over, and after today, it should be smooth sailing until the weekend. I am excited to have a long weekend coming up to celebrate the 4th of July! Today's jumpsuit is from Tobi, and you may remember that I have shared a few looks with them before (here and here). When I first tried on this jumpsuit from Tobi, I was a little stumped as to how I should style it. I knew I had to wear a top underneath it, because unlike the model on the website, there is absolutely no way I could a) go braless or b) wear a plunging necklace that almost exposed my belly button. I joked with my husband and said that I also didn't want to look like I was on Orange is the New Black. I figured a simple white tank underneath would be perfect, and now I am debating wearing this outfit on the 4th of July if it isn't too hot! I am not even kidding either when I say the material of this jumpsuit is extremely soft, I literally feel like I am wearing pajamas. I also love the length of this one because being tall, I have struggled to find jumpsuits that are at least ankle length on me. If I could find more jumpsuits like this one, I would definitely wear them more often!

Have you ever tried the jumpsuit trend? What is your favorite way to style one?

The Perfect Sling for Summertime Babywearing + Giveaway to Beachfront Baby

TGIF! For some reason this week felt so long to me, and it didn't help that it was so hot here. Summer is definitely in full swing now, and with the heat comes a lot of fun activities. Harper is pretty much obsessed with the water, which I feel like makes total sense considering she was born in the water. She loves playing in her water table and splashing around in her baby pool on the weekends. We have signed her up for her first swimming lessons, which will begin in a few weeks. Even though she loves the water, I'm a little worried that she might be nervous in a big pool, so I am super excited to use my Beachfront Baby sling in the water. Until now, I had actually never worn Harper in a sling before. It's definitely a really comfortable way to wear her, since I generally carry her on my hip anyway. This sling is perfect not only to be worn in the water, but also in the hot summer months because the mesh fabric is very lightweight and breathable. I will be giving you a chance to win a sling/carrier of your choice later today on Instagram, but in the meantime you can use the code MOS2016 from now until 07/04 to get 10% off anything from Beachfront Baby.

Style on a Budget with Savers

A few weeks ago I stopped by the brand new Savers store in Santa Fe, NM. We have a Savers store here in Albuquerque, but since this is the first store located in Santa Fe, I was excited to check it out.  I was shocked to see how many great pieces and deals that I could find while looking around the store. The first item I spotted almost immediately were a pair of JCrew leopard pumps that looked way too good to be true. I was so sad to discover that they were 1/2 a size too small for me because they were priced at $24.99 and were practically brand new! Knowing that there were more than 100,000 items on the sales floor, I peeled myself away from the gorgeous shoes. I then came across a leather cut out front top from Anthropologie that was brand new with tags, originally priced at $88. I tried it on, and even though it was a little too big, I knew I had to have it, especially for the price ($29). I love that it is sleeveless, so it can be worn now, as well as with a blazer or cardigan as the weather cools down in the fall. I will definitely be sharing it in an outfit post soon! I also found the cutest blush colored studded clutch, originally from Target, which cost me less than $5. After checking out all of the sections of the store, I was really pleased with everything I was able to find and purchase. Although I regularly donate at Savers, I realized after attending the preview event that I really don't shop at thrift stores as often as I probably should!

Can you believe this Anthropologie top is brand new with tags and cost me less than $30?

Since my little shopping buddy, Harper, was with me, I couldn't help but to find her a few books (and the cutest gold bin that coordinates with her playroom perfectly.

If you're a local to the area, you'll probably be as happy as I was to learn that the Santa Fe store has a partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Mexico. When you donate any items to Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Mexico at the store’s on-site Community Donation Center, Savers will pay Big Brothers Big Sisters for those items whether or not they make it to the sales floor. The Santa Fe Saver's store and donation center is located at 3294 Cerrillos Road. For more information, you can contact the store directly at (505) 919-7185 or visit www.savers.com.

Do you shop at thrift stores regularly? If so, what has been your best thrifting find?
